Context
Enterprises wanted to ship internal and customer apps faster, but most AI app builders produce prompt-generated prototypes with no real backend, security model or integration story.
Challenge
Build something enterprise-grade, not another prompt-to-app toy: generated apps need real backends, connections to existing enterprise systems, and the auth, audit and tenancy controls IT teams require.
What I did
- Led the programme and was hands-on in building the platform, across product, architecture and engineering.
- Designed the product around a drag-and-drop builder for screens, workflows and data models, with AI assistance to speed up creation.
- Generated the backend alongside the UI: data stores, APIs and business logic, not just the front end.
- Built a middleware layer every app inherits: authentication, role and access management, language translation, audit trails and tenant management.
- Added connectors to existing enterprise systems, and a developer SDK so engineers can drop in custom code when no-code isn’t enough.
Outcome
An enterprise-focused platform where business teams build complete apps and engineering keeps control of security, integration and extensibility.
